libfpga0 software package provides libraries of fpgatools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfpga0
libfpga0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfpga0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfpga0 *
You will get with libfpga0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
